Hello Gang!!

Sorry I haven't been around much, just go back from another event Sun. and spent yesterday doing some work on the trailer and chilling out.

Yeah, I just got home about 4 weeks, but I leave Fri. for the sandbox. Thankfully it's only for a short time though. The new business doesn't make enough yet to support me, so I must do other in order to eat, make my payments and run the business.

I've gotten away from the "operations" side of the house and do more Service Rep. and SME type work. The gov't has been great in letting me work around my event schedule and I couldn't be more appreciative. I just hope they keep letting me do it!!

Happy Belated Memorial Day to all the veterans!! Name: smiley_25.gif

We rode the wheelers most of the weekend. We did get the 5th wheel back and do some backyard camping!

Good morning Savage Gang,

@George, Nice to hear that the government is working with you on your schedule.

@Savage, Nice looking setup you have and I like the way you adjusted the deck.

Paul those are Moto MTC tires and I live them. We found some Saturday and they seemed to do really well. They only thing they don't like is the street...they are really loud and clunky on the street. We don't see too much of the street anyway.

Tim...it's the ultimate bad back solution when you have a little winch. I moved it away/back the same way last year. It really makes it easy.

George...keep on working it as long as you can. It has to be tough starting out and I'm glad you found a way to do it! Well done!

I haven't mentioned it before, but I think the 5th wheel will be parked there for several months. My mother said she couldn't take the Arizona heat anymore in the summer. She asked if she could stay in the 5th wheel all summer and she could buy us another one. We don't need two trailers...and her needs out weigh our wants. We will see what the summer brings. So she comes June 14th or so. We are camping the next two weekends. As much as we are disappointed, we are happy to have her here. Depending on how things go, we may or may not get another one. I don't want to worry about it now...

I have not had the Maxxis BigHorns...I almost bought them when I bought these in lieu of them. I ride with a group of guys occasionally and 2 of the bikes have the Big Horns. They love them. I think both tires are pretty comparable to be honest. I think I have a slight edge in mud, but they have a slight edge on smooth faced rocks. If we go out to Moab, UT, I'd get a set of big horns...until then, I'll stick to the MTC's.

Thanks on the mom props...but it really wasn't a decision so much as a this is what we have to do type of thing . I wasn't totally happy with it...there was a couple of times I grumbled about it, but I'm human

George - glad to hear our government is working with you. It's good to know my tax dollars are helping the someone in the private sector!

Savage - You also get the "son of the year" award for letting your mom stay cool in your fiver! Now you can get that toy hauler.

I would, but I can't afford it unless I sell the 5th wheel. I can't do both, but you already talked me out of that anyway. I think we will just stick to what we have for now. I'm not son of the year...it was that or let her move in the house and I'd lose my office. That's wasn't happening

When do you leave?

Have a good trip Gavin

Savage you can use my tow hauler for the summer, we don't plan on using it. It's a bit of a drive to pick it up tho (and it ain't all that nice).

Do mom and wife get along? Mine get along great which is awesome cuz mom lives 5 hours away so when she come to visit she is usually here for a week or 2.

The trailer pad looks awesome BTW.
