DAK. Last nights news reported a group of Utahans got caught in an avalanche in BC yesterday or day before. Something like 8 of them. Two got seriously hurt Took over 8 hours to get everybody out.
With all the snow we are getting in Utah, there is not a lot of need to go out of state to ski. But I guess some diehards wanted to see someplace new..
The Avalanche dangers in Utah right now are over the top. This Heavy Deep new snow on top of the crust from the cold temps a few weeks ago has seriously weekend the snow pack. This mornings news showed 5 major roads closed due to over night avalanches that slid down and blocked the roads.
Back country skiers and snowmobilers just need to stay on the flatter slopes until this stabilizes.

Appointment at 8 AM tomorrow for a complete system flush. They know they messed up!! I was direct and to the point. As Jon had pointed out, the new parts guy didn't even know about VC 12...And it's been out for 6 years!!!! He is new, and is filling in for the parts manager as both of her parents died within a week of each other, but he now knows. The tech really has egg on his face now too. Actually the entire service department does. Truly makes me wonder how many 6.7s are out there with the wrong additive!
Oh, and it will be done with distilled water!

Eric, I drove the truck about another 100 miles just a bit ago. A total of about 250 since the new MAF sensor, and not one problem. I know, I was supposed to be resting, but my work partner's alternator went out on her F150 so my dad and I took a road trip so I could change it out. Took about an hour. The real test will come Friday when I hook the camper to her. I'll let you guys know how she does. I really hope they have figured it out.

I'm glad they are going to make it right...its a good thing you said something! Just imagine (as you allude) if you drove another 40k miles with that additive in the system!
Did they add it to the secondary system? If so, be sure to have that system flushed too.

Good evening to all ye fine Patriots..........
Doc appointment this morning 0830 with a Cardio Vascular Specialist.
The tests already run do show huge reduction of blood flow in the right leg and some reduction in my left leg. Also, new, he hears turbulence in my left carotid Artery. This is probably a partial blockage..........
So......Lab work today.......more tests tomorrow and Friday CT scan with die to gather more info so we can plan what's next. Next appointment 01 Feb.
Good meeting at school planning the Banquet in April with Lt Col Oliver North....
Corrected a network problem at church and other little computer issues.....
Nice burgers cooked on the grill.......Soon it will be time to head for my meeting at Ft Shaw.
