Good morning guys! Up and back at it again today. Then off tomorrow for our EMS' annual golf tournament. We put this on every year to help out our own people that get injured or sick. We obtained non-profit status a while back and we have paid out over $37,000 to our own employees over the last 7 years. We use the money to help out as our team makes their house payments and/or car payments for a month or two until they can get healthy, or deductibles on their insurance before surgery. We were the only one in the state of Ga that had ever done anything like this. This is NOT a county run organization, it is an employee organization fully independent of the county. We take care of our own as we know the municipality we work for can't.

I was up and working about 5:30am like a BOSS and forgot to say good morning. I'm really sorry. I just got caught up in the activities. Younger boy has his first football game tonight. Pretty excited about that. Older boy had his first soccer game. They lost 0-3. Oh well...room for improvement!
