The dive bars are always the best!
Boy, today was just one of those days I should have just stayed in bed.
Pete died in the road 200 feet from the driveway. Plugged in all night, started fine. Pulled out, threw a low rail pressure code and died. 7 degrees on the thermometer. It's done this once every year I've had it. Our 6.7 Petes don't even get plugged in and have no issues. Run while bottle Power Service with every tank. Something prior to the main fuel filter gels up as you can hear the electric priming pump cavitating. Got it running in an hour and a half, which is much better than normal.
Went to the shop tried to get back on track. Waiting for a truck to show to haul 2 grapples out so I could swap them. Truck was supposed to be there at 8, didn't show til 11:30, and didn't make job til 1:15. One of our other guys was waiting there to bang this out but they sent him somewhere else 10 min before I got there. Got one installed by 4 and said screw it. Stuck in traffic on the way home.
Made it to the parents for dinner. Dad wants to go tractor shopping Monday but I have to finish what I didn't get done today............bummed!
Should have just taken 6 hours sick and said screw it today!
Hope everybody else had a better day and has a good weekend! I'm hiding in the house next to the woodstove the next 2 days despite a few new toys to play with.

ANd Roy, an officer shot a fire chief in Barrow, AK when he pointed a shotgun at him and of course the officer isn't being hailed as a hero. Even as they were called because he was threatening to kill his entire family.

Morning guys! Hope you all are enjoying your weekend!? Really, other than camping weekend, I don't know what those are
Been thinking of a little mod to the camper the last couple of days and made it at work this morning. Since we winterize/dewinterize so many times during the winter, getting back into the backs of the closets are a pain in the butt. You have to screw a hose on each water line and then switch it to the other one each time to make sure you've either put enough anti-freeze in, or bled the lines enough to get all of the pink stuff out. So during a typical weekend, I've put 4 hoses on and off in a 'not so easy to get to' connections. So, I came up with using a typical home washer set of hoses. Bought a 3/8" diameter T and some clamps. Being that a washer hose set comes with two hoses, we were able to make a piece for not only my camper, but my camping/work partner's camper as well. With this piece of tubing, I can leave it on the connections permanently and just turn the ***** thereby reducing my stress level and profanity With my XL hands, it gets awkward Here are few pics of the little mod. Only thing I would suggest is a little larger clamp. This size is hard to get on with the T inserted.
This is my partner's camper W/D connections. Hers are a little easier to get to, but not much.
Now here it is with Delaine holding it up. With it left on the connections, all I have to do is turn the valves and prime the lines. I REALLY wish I had thought of this earlier!!
