It's a rainy 66F here, but I like it. There are 24 hours in the day to experience sun light right now, so in the "heat" of the day, overcast and rain is fine. It did make me change plans for going to the parade. As Roy found out, there are a lot of things to do, just not enough space for the people that want to do them!
I feel for you Tim Young. And getting ready to go back to Miami (when will that ever end, who knows) where the feels like temps are always triple digits I will be able to feel the pain with you.
Grilling steaks, hamburgers, and hot dogs.
Andre - I was getting a little worried too. And no problem for reaching out to him.
Happy Birthday to the "Saint" as Roy put it, as well.

Howdy guys
Hope you are all enjoying your 4th. My wife is partying it up in Florida still.
We had some good weather the last couple of days.
Windy as heck right now tho.
Kids and I just got back from happy hour. Gonna pack it up in the AM, hit church on our way back to town and then take it easy for the rest of the day.
Momma gets back tomorrow night late .... and I gotta work Monday
Have a good nigh everyone. Stay safe!!

I am back in Milton. I flew back Saturday a week ago. SWMBOl picked me up in Buffalo and we drove straight to the U-Haul dealer in Milton where I hooked up a motorcycle trailer she had rented. Early Sunday morning we headed out to Wisconsin with trailer in tow. She bought herself a 2006 Honda Big Ruckus, 250cc, that she bought on Ebay. She had a Big Ruckus that she sold to buy her HD Sportster and regretted selling it ever since. We picked up the scooter and vacationed on the way back.
We spent Canada Day in Sarnia and celebrated Canada Day and my 71st birthday. We walked the streets and toured the water front.. We got back to Milton on July 2nd. I washed my filthy truck did the routine things on the trailer and we have been riding. She loves the scooter and it can travel at highway speeds - unlike her little scooter which has a top speed of 40 mph. She can easily do 60 mph on the Big Ruckus. It is a lot more fun for me to ride with her now that she can ride at the speed limits. I can finally get out of 3rd gear! The only downside is that I have to figure out how to get three bikes in toyhauler along with the other stuff I brought.
Now to try and get caught up on this one page thread. Have a great Sunday.

Got caught in a hail storm up on the mountain yesterday, It was forecast to hit 102° in the valley, So I loaded up early and headed for the Uinta Mountains about 2 hours from home. I rode the horses up to 11,000 foot to the head waters of the East Fork of the Bear River. Thunderstorm blew in and I actually had to put a coat on for about an hour. Cowboy hat kept the hail stones from bouncing off my ears.
Andre, that is hilarious.

Hi Guys........
This is the first I have been able to get internet access.........
Cell phone connects.....makes voice calls.....can send receive email......But Can Not access the internet through it reliably......the wi-fi at the campground is the same, but worse.......
Not that I am able to access the internet.........I'll see if I can get the system to upload photos.......
This town has exploded in the last 2 days......
There was an annual race today.....Mountain Marathon.....starting line is about a mile or so from the base of a mountain.....then 3022 foot climb.....appears to be at about a 45 degree angle......UNREAL......I could not walk it in a day. They run up to the top and then back down in like 2 hours.......
