All of us were unhappy about Puffy getting killed. Heidi was just being a puppy......she didn't try to kill them all. Just apparently picked one to play with....She didn't try to eat it.

Well anyway, I'll have the escape proof and dog proof pen/chicken coop finished tomorrow.

Oh I know, we had one dog growing up that would intentionally kill chickens, it was a Irish Setter. My Mom has a Boston Terrier that chased one of their hens a year or so ago, a game rooster they had intervened and now poor Max is deathly afraid of a chicken.....(chicken of a chicken!) You couldn't melt him a pour him on one now!

Havent been here much the last few days.....busy, but that is a good thing
Mitch.....beautiful grave plot, it is always tough. They say time heals....not so much, the empty spot is always there!
Roy, sorry to hear about Puffy, hope your puppy/chicken separation system works out.
And to the rest of the gang....hope all is going just great!
And now I spose I gotta get ready. The Mrs is going to be back from her Montana visit this morning.....

Back in the day we had a dog that like to play with chickens too, most didn't survive his game but he was just playing.

Looks like the English language went down hill for a few pages. 'Course that don't make no never mind to me.

Right now they have a circle of wire about 15 ft in diameter around the Hen House.....just temporary.....
I left the back yard for awhile.....All the chickens got out of the temp pen and Heidi got one. Puffy is dead........
Trying to catch up, Sorry to hear that Roy.

I like that step idea Dim Sum.

Tim Young - Garden looking nice.

Have some Doctors appointments here then heading back to AK. Can't wait to get back for a bit.
