Shawn, I thought I was the only one who added grape jelly to the BBQ sauce. I'm not big on the Smokies, so I usually do the pre-fab frozen meatballs in the slow cooker with BBQ sauce, but I have always added a large glob of grape jelly! The rest of the list sounds pretty tasty too.
Don't remember where I picked it up but been using grape jelly for years. Adds a little sweet to the tang.
And I forgot, I did buy some meatballs - usually throw the meatballs and smokies together in the same pot. Glad you reminded me or I might have forgotten to pull them out of the freezer.
Great minds run in the same gutter.

Matt, while I've never gotten to go bow hunting, I used to be pretty good with a bow and arrow. I miss the days of being able to step into the back yard and do target practice every afternoon.

I figure a potential summer vacation with the truck would work. See the family before making our way back to Alaska. A lot depends on how my health is.

Dak, glad you made it back home safely. So the Miami house is listed now?
Roy, I saw on the Weather Channel website this morning that the entire midwest is expected to get hammered by a named winter storm. We are supposed to get the rain portion of that down here, but so far, it looks like we've already missed the bulk of it. No matter. I'm at work and have no outdoor plans for today. Going to break the diet tonight for some nice Super Bowl snacks and watch the game, then back on the diet tomorrow.
