Good morning gang. Time to make the doughnuts.

Chad, I like your pic as well! What do you think about that LCR? I haven't gotten to try mine yet, but am looking forward to at least the first shot. Once my hand quits tingling from that shot, I may like the second shot too (.357 magnum in a small, lightweight package). This is my third Glock. I only use them for target shooting - hence the long barrel on this one.

Tim, cool chipper/shredder. I noticed the hydraulics on the three point. I've never seen them external before. Those look pretty beefy.

Howdy Mitch. I won't be boiling any oil today, but I have to go sit through the process of signing off on the purchase of a program that will enable the boiling of more oil in the fairly near future.

End of week two of dieting I'm down another 6 lbs for a total now of 14.5 lbs. Only 6 lbs to go to hit my target and hopefully only one more week. (I would really like to enjoy some Super Bowl snacks next Sunday night.)

Have a good one guys.

I like it. Shoots very well for what it is, trigger pull is one of the best for DAO revolver. But it's still a snub nose revolver, so going through boxes of ammo at the range will not be a problem.

Good morning boys!

It was a busy weekend for Troop 701. We took 3 First place trophies and 1 second place trophy in 6 events on Saturday for the Boy Scout Winter Klondike (winter Olympics). They won overall for the first time in many, many years (I think over 10). I was super proud
Sunday we had to help with a Pinewood Derby for a local Cub Scout Pack. Same tonight and Tuesday is a regular meeting. It's just very busy. We have another one this Saturday, but the boys and I are driving up North afterwards to do some sledding Sunday. The draft inducer blower on the furnace was starting to make some noise when I was up there, so I ordered a new one and I want to swap that out when I'm up there too.

You guys have a great day!

Only thing that would make that lego truck cooler is if the plate said Savage, ror.

Nice pics buddy...you order those wheels and tires? Will you need new changes or just stretch the bungees more?

Where is Gerry?

Tim...that chipper looks BadA**.

Morning guys! I too am beginning to wonder where Gerry is..I went camping this last weekend on purpose as the big camper show was in Atlanta. I really should stay away from those things now. Hell I went to the dealer for a water filter the last time and ordered a new one before I left As we were just finishing cooking yesterday, I looked across the camp ground at an '01 7.3L dually pulling a 38 ft Cedar Creek that came in about sundown. The camp hos was there and had his Ecoboost hooked to the 5er and the elderly gentlemen was trying to climb into the engine bay, so I walked over to see if I could help. There was a HUGE puddle of oil in the ground under his truck and it was about 3 qts low on oil. I looked and found that the O ring for the injection pump had blown. He said he would call GoodSam and make arrangements. But I told him a buddy of mine was a former Ford Diesel tech and had his shop about 20 miles away if he needed anything. So I asked about his camper and he said he had just put in a new battery two days before in Va and now it was dead. I told him to check the converter. He had no idea what it was so I went and got my multimeter and he had no power coming out of it back towards the battery. He said the camper was still under warranty and would get it taken care of. As we were gathering things to leave, he walked over and asked for my buddy's number so I just called him. Apparently GoodSam could do nothing for a day or two. His truck was towed there this morning and he was on his way in about 2 hours with the O ring changed. The camp host was in a brand new Airstream. When we were talking, he said he that he had a 6.7L and a 5er but water got into the fuel system and he traded the truck before it was repaired for the EcoBoost and traded the 5er for the Airstream. Interesting people. Another reason I love camping. Sorry for the long post but here is a pic of the sunrise yesterday morning. Some might recognize the site as it was the same one form 6 weeks ago while there.

Hey Fellas. Long time just sent me a PM telling me to check in with the old timers over at FTE. So I read backwards a few pages from the end and looks like all the old friends are still at it. 855 pages on a single thread though, really? Something is going to break...

So me? 28 years with my bride. More things with various motors on them, particularly two new grandsons, ate a Big Mac north of the Arctic circle, sent one daughter on a mission to Mexico City and another to work at the UN in NYC. Said goodbye to the POS son-in-law so my oldest daughter and her little motor is is staying with us. All good. Youngest boy Michael (12 years old) is my built-in epic-level awesome side-kick and keeps me young. Cat is 11 years old. That's pretty much it for family events, drama and trauma over the last couple of years. All in all, pretty amazing. Oh, the truck is still near perfect except for the driver's mirror which is manual now. It was a victim of a Prius driver is a parking lot.

Now back to the regular conversation.
