Thanks for the kind words regarding the team. We are rolling over these teams so far. Our starting defense has only given up one touchdown all year. I'm very proud of them. Even the 2's and 3's are starting to play at a much higher level.

Steve...Good luck with your daughter. I know you will work it out and she will learn the error of her ways.

Steve, I feel for you with the issues you are dealing with on your daughter. I know it gets frustrating, and as much as we would like to think otherwise, we really don't have all of the answers. We just have to do our best and hope the outcome is favorable.

I left the house yesterday morning to get my eye exam and run a few errands and ended up getting to visit with a buddy for the rest of the day on his side of town. Cruising back home yesterday evening in that fine truck made the world seem right.

He took his Hunter Safety Course test last night and wants to clean up the hunting camper and service the four wheeler. I believe he is getting itching for hunting season to start

 

Morning all. Went to breakfast at the hotel and met a 50's something couple. Sure as chit,mother are from Grand Rapids MI where I grew up. They are looking at moving here and don't have a boat. Told them if I get my boat back this afternoon, that I would take them out to see the lake and TN river system.

Praying the boat gets fixed today. It's a gorgeous day in AL.

Very true. As a whole, she is a great kid. The lying is ridiculous though, and her decision making abilities still are not at her age level. The reason why she doesn't have a car of her own yet.

Gotta love it. I tell my son all the time that I hope he is learning things not to do from his sister. He assures me he will not make the same mistakes. I would give him a car over his older sister.

It has to sink in eventually. Taking her social network away will give her some time to think about it.

Like I tell her mom, we have done everything we can as parents, and will continue to due so. She can never blame a loving family for these issues. She is still better than most teens, but is testing me/us to the max.
