Gerry........Ya wanta buy my truck....I'll deliver it.

Wife and I are seriously looking at ordering a 2015 F350...King Ranch...DRW...Crew Cab...Long Bed....Sun roof....heavy suspension...skid plates.....and...and....and.

Weighting the trailer the other day got me a weee bit concerned. I am over loading the gross weight on the truck by 1100 lbs.....the rear axle by 100 lbs....the max combined gross weight by 3,000 lbs.
We are planning some long and rough trips........

Ford's site puts the truck at $69,400. The best offer I have so far is $65K. Not good enough.

Roy, around here I just noticed a few days ago that the 15s are going for about $9k below sticker after Ford incentives and rebates. Actually that is the advertised price. I bet I could get another 1.5 to 2k off that price.

I should have bought a dually when I got this truck, but it is my daily driver and I talked myself out of it. At the time our fifth wheel was under 10k and I only occasionally tow an 18k gooseneck short distances. Now the fifth wheel is around 16k and the SRW is maxed out. I'm still pretty comfortable with that, but it is asking a lot from the tires. I'm at a point now where I could sell the 11 for about 15k less than I paid for it 4 years ago. I may be truck shopping yet this year! I was looking forward to no more truck payments in the near future, but if I'm ever going to make the move, now is the best time financially. When the 16s come out, the leftover 15s may get cheaper, but I'm pretty picky about my trucks and can't usually settle on something on the lot. I know a 16 isn't going to be the best financial option and my truck is only losing value by the month. It would also be nice to dump this Job 1 before the warranty runs out. It has in the past exhibited the rough running, knocking problem that prompts them to replace valves, but it hasn't done it in so long the dealer wouldn't do anything about it anyway. Those valves are always in the back of my mind.

Good luck on your search Roy! Are you going to transfer the moose bumper?

The only weights I worry about are the individual axle weights (within reason). I was surprised how light you came in at. My camper is 36' tandem (7,000#x2) and almost beat ya.
This weight was Memorial day, lots of extra parts and tools I don't normally bring with about 100 gallons of fresh and full propane. For an off the beaten path trip perhaps an extra spare for the truck is all I would do.

Does anybody know where to get the best deal on a TST 507RV TPMS? I do the usual Amazon and ebay searches and have found some good prices, just wondered if anybody knew of a better source.

I remember when I bought my first Honda generator I did a ton of research and thought I had found the best deal. Next thing I know somebody was posting on RV.net about Wise Sales. I had never heard of them, but they were darn near $100 less than I had paid and had free shipping!

TST matched the pricing at Vulcan tire when I ordered mine in May. and I got the 3 yr TST warranty. I wanted two monitors cause I have two trailers and don't want to move sensors back & forth and reprogram for the different trailer tire pressures. TST is still giving the 10% off & 3yr tho.

Very true. But if he feels that is an accurate ready to camp weight I would not lose any sleep.

Howdy guys

The chewing thing is something I am struggling with right now ... anyway. One of the things I respect about my father is that he was a heavy smoker, but he quit cold turkey when I was 4 years old on the day they founout I had asthma. He has not had a single puff in 36 years.

Enjoy your days off Doug, blast a couple for me

Good luck tomorrow Andre!

Have a good weekend everyone

Roy haven't addressed the DRL yet. Been going to the doctor everyday this week and back again today. Either for me, my kids, or my wife. We've all had them this week... Next week isn't looking any better until late in the week. (I have the sleep study and CPAP fitment, then doctor's appointment afterwards to get the machine, etc...)

$65k and then MINUS incentives or including incentives?

I was $60.5k after incentives and my truck stickered at close to $70k as well... Trade in, I did "ok", but not great. Saving grace was that there is no sales tax here and I am accustomed to paying it. Cheaper truck payment overall is what sold me on it. Btw, that finance with Ford and save $1000, really is only going to save me $500... Those are the finance charges until I can refi....

Good luck tomorrow Andre.

New iPhone 6 Plus arrived and is activating. My Rugged Liner Wheel Wells also arrived. Blistering fast shipping since I ordered them yesterday! They came in from KY. Arrived no box which made me laugh by, but they are rugged right!? ROR.

My pops is coming down and will be here in a few hours to celebrate my daughters 16th BDay. I will need his good shoulders to help me install these.
