Value of a 1980

Hi there from Canada,
A friend of mine was in an accident and wrote off his truck.
I was wondering where I should look to find out an approx. value for it. The adjuster doesn't seem to have a clue and hasn't given him a number yet.
I figured if anyone new where to find out you guys would.

It's a 1980 Flareside F100 regular cab with a rebuilt 351W.
Approx 160,000 km on it. (I don't know how many on the rebuild)
I'm sure there is a lot more info needed but this is just me grasping at straws

Thanks in advance for help.

I would go to kellys blue book.com... they usually give you a pretty good estimate of what a vehicle is worth.... but they might only go down to the year 1983... but I would give it a try... its website is www.kbb.com

Keep in mind that those are US values, For a Canadian black book value(trade in) go to www.dialmerchrysler.ca(then slect a marque) or www.toyota.ca and select "trade in value."

BTW, where in Canada are you??
Good Luck
Evan

You said it was a flareside, so what shape is the flareside box in, like whats the wood bed like, are the fiberglass fenders cracked, etc. Also what trim level is it and what tranny does it have also how much rust does it have? (I wouldn't pay no more than 1000 for it)
