Issac delayed me last week. I have the IPR back in, no change. Sounds like an old Perkins tractor trying to start. IPR 77.6%, ICP less than 350psi. Code 264, cyl #2. I hope to get off work in time to pull ICP and put air test adapter in tonight.
Can someone tell me what psi to run and should I remove valve covers?
Anyone looking for a nice truck to drop a good engine in?

P0264 INJ Cylinder Number 2 Injector Circuit Low Open circuit, fuel injector, FICM connector loose
Have you have checked the harness with a DVM to this injector yet^^^??????
you can also Bubble test inject too
check ficm connectors
Take the cap off the oil filter to listen when you blow it with air sometimes a bad HPOP will show itself this way
Kinda looking like a New HPOP and inject and Oil Cooler when it rains it pours try these other tests first Good Luck

I wanted to update anyone following this post. I went back to square 1 today after work. Earlier post I noted "zip ties" on FICM connectors, I did not put ties back on during install. Put "zips" on connectors,(the lock clips are broken) and P0264 code is gone. Truck starts right up. Lesson learned
Still have the high IPR%. Will connect "air test fitting" to ICP tomorrow and post.
Does anyone know if you can change the FICM connectors? Also, I found a cracked plug on #8 inj at the head, can it be replaced or new inj needed?
Thanks for the help Blaze35 and Cheezit, I was going to ohm #2 when I found the bad connector.

I think I may be on to something. I read another post you had about your truck going south on you while looking for the pin #'s for inj #2. It turned out to be your ICP. With that said.
I finally got home before dark today and disconnected the ICP for my air leak test, said to self, heck crank it up and see what happens. Do theses numbers mean I may just need a ICP:
KOEO:
IPR: 14.4 %
ICP: 0.0 psi
warmed up to 186 WT and 184 EOT
IDLE:
IPR: 32% +or -
ICP: 688psi +or-
2500rpm
IPR: 47% +or-
ICP:1500psi +or-
I am ready to remove ICP and do air test, just a thought from your other post. Thanks for all your help.
