newbie needs help

This is my second post...have a 2005 Ford F250 superduty diesel. I found four wires red, white, blue, black cut un taped just cut from a wiring harness at fire wall right in front of driver position. Kind of looks like add on wiriing?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Use the search function with "upfitter switches" as the search term and you'll find out. Ford put them in so you can add aftermarket stuff easily. Cool huh?

Actually those wires have nothing to do with the upfitter switches. They are just firewall pass-through wires. You will find the other end, also blunt cut, behind your fuse block under the steering wheel. You can use them for anything you wish to pass power through the firewall. Just pay attention to the current draw, because those are rather small wires.
