It's under the middle of the rear axle. I need it to drop about 4 or 5 inches. I think I'm gonna put the axle on cinder blocks and use the jack with a 4x4 from the jack to the frame to lift it and raise my jack stands.

ahh I was looking at the last pic you had posted.... Jacking the frame is about your only option, but instead of putting a 4x4 between your jack and frame dont kill your self, put something under your jack.... like a cinder block

Yeah, I came up with a new plan today, and it's just what you said, a cinder block under the jack. Except I need about a foot so Imma stack two, then put the jack on top.

I wish I had a forklift!
I ended up using my engine hoist to lift up the truck, then raised the jack stands.
Then I put the shackle in place to see what the angle was when the springs are uncompressed.

I'm going to paint the shackles tonight and put them on tomarro.

Your rear shackle mount isn't going to work just by flipping it upside down like that. It's too high above the frame rails and will hit the bottom of the bed.

Here is a example of a good shackle angle both full compressed and full droop.

My bed is rotted out in the bottom so I'm going to have to repair it. I was planning to raise it up kinda like making a hump where the hanger is.

I thought when it had the weight of the truck on the springs it was suppost to look like that, with the shackle almost straight up and down.

The axle is sitting on 4x4 for now.

Ride hight, the shackle should be angled slightly. I'll try n find a ride hight pic

Also. Are you trying to get lift from flipping the shackle? If so, you won't get much if any at all with the factory hanger bolted on like that.

Here is a decent angle at ride hight. I like my angle a bit more at ride hight, but it doesnt have to be.
