What year 460?

I'm still looking for an engine to put in my 97 F250 and found a guy with a complete crate engine but he doesn't know anything about it except that it is a 460 without any manifolds, etc. How can I tell approximately what year engine this is? I've learned from you all here that I prefer a 93 or newer for my 97.
Thanks

Look for a F3TE casting code on the heads, as opposed to the E7TE code for early FI heads.

Carburetor heads will not fit the intake or exhaust manifolds you have.

I'm not sure about fulie heads with center bolt valve covers, but on carbrureted heads the numbers are visible between the second and third exhaust ports
