Anti theft icon flashing Truck won't start
Truck won’t start – Passive anti theft icon flashing – 2008 F250 PSD
Went to connect trailer lights to truck - but no trailer lights; after simple testing with a multi meter I discovered no power to trailer connection. Started looking for a blown fuse – in cab and under hood.
Pulled a few fuses at random looking for a blown one – the only one I found was a 25 amp under the hood that was labeled “unused” in the owner’s manual – Replaced it and now I have the no start condition. Any thoughts – not looking forward to the tow and repair $$$$
Owner’s manual does not offer any direction for re-setting.

Update - it seems that one needs to use extreme caution when testing at the trailer connection plug - that you can blow fuses when trying to maneuver testing probes - so after a tow to the shop my Tech (and son) replaced two fuses under the hood - and all is good again. No need for re-programming new keys. Just a little humiliation of my son laughing at me.
Now I'm wihtin 45 days of getting rid of that dang DPF -
