If I read the ad right the other truck has been sitting for 10 years? quote from ad "For sale, 1969 Ford 4x4. Blew the motor some ten years ago, and pulled it out, but with life happening, haven't gotten around to getting it going again. It was a good truck," If its been sitting that long water could have gotten stuck in the frame, brakes could be stuck to the drums, If you want a 4x4 I'd buy a newer one save your bump for the summer, then next summer swap your bump body on the newer running gear, get one with power steering and all the other nice stuff the have come up with in the last 30 years. I got my 91 exploder for $75 and put my 48 cab and bed on it. Started that project when I was your age on a 73 bronco frame.

If you really want it lowball him. But you are better off with one that has the 2speed T case with high and low range. Talk it over with our dad.

How is that 48 cab on the exploder frame coming? I have been thinking about just such a swap and would be interested to know how it's going.

thats not the only 4x4 you'l come across. The right opportunity will come and you can seize it. Save your money now and worry about that later. JMO

Well the 69 and the 67 i was lookin at both sold. No worries though. I was recently offered a job at a family friends restoration shop. and with that job i get a discount on paint, interior and dress up parts. Also the owner (Randy) has a old 427 for sale. after being inspired by this video Ford F100 vs. Chevy Corvette - YouTube ive decided to make a budget racer or show truck out of it. Now to pick a color.

Also much thanks Mike. At my school there is 1 kid with a restored 56 chevy truck and a kid with a restored 67 Chevy Malibu. So there are a few like me out there. Were just hard to find .
And mike i like the look of your radio install. Its alot better then mine right under the dash held in by magnets.
