Yes i know how you feel. My 95 f250 is a little sloppy. It has 260k on it though. But my 96 f350 welding truck is really tight, of course it only has 111k on it. I still love driving both of them though.

My truck the 96 is lifted 3" and has 285s vs his stock car heighth with 265 tires. It is just silly how much difference there is.i could have bought his instead of my 350 but i didnt want him to not have his.

I'm not 100% sure but it seems that my f250 steered better with the ttb then the Dana 60. It rides better with the 60 in there and F350 springs.

This post is rather disconcerting as I just collected a D60 with the F350 front springs to swap into place where the TTB D50 with the stock F250 springs are now.

Of course I was expecting a ride improvement. Admittedly, part of my ride quality is the kick in the back from the rear springs and I hope to address that too somehow. Thought I'd get the F350 rear springs with their secondary spring that hits brackets on the frame when the load gets heavy enough.

Now I gotta do some more head scratching....

My trucks ride better with the swap. I'm just not so happy with steering.

Now dont get me wrong.I would not trade my 350psd for his ,it just is very noticble the difference. More a stock handling truck vs a lifted handling truck.i have a sky rsk on my front also,it rides MUCH better according to my seven month pregnant wife.BUT i cheaped out and did not do the drop pitman arm so i get some bump steer also.just yet another difference.
DO NOT be discouraged, that was not my intent, just that the two trucks are SO different.I never noticed the difference before is all.

Go ahead with the D60 swap! It is an improvement and it will ride better. I hope to be doing it to my 250 this fall when I get an axle. I wouldn't scratch twice about it! LOL!!
