How do I know if I have a tune?
Just picked up my first 7.3 as you can see in my avatar it has been lifted and has Air Research air filter and maybe box? Banks Trans Mod and big 4 or 5 inch exhaust. I love the edge on my f-150 but how will that work with the banks? First question to the forum is this, how do I know if it has a tune? On my C5 vette the tune was just done via a laptop. I had a edge with the display pod on my f-150 but have also had piggy back chips (Kenny Bell) back in the day on my Grand National. Do I need to pull the ecm to see if its been into or can I assume that if it had a tune that is was lost when it was sold thought the ford place last year?

I would go down to Bean's and see what he can do for you. I personally am not a fan of Edge devices, but then again, Edge has a bad rap with the 6.0. Given that you have a 7.3, I would go with DP.
As to finding out if you have a tune or not. I know with the 6.0 there is typically a "U" code that is present with most of your box tuners (Edge, Bullydog, Banks etc), I don't know if there is one with the 7.3 or not.
