this should help ya

Disassembly

Clean all dirt and oil from the external surface of the power steering pump after removal. Handle all pump parts carefully to avoid nicks, burrs, scratches and dirt. CAUTION: To ensure correct reassembly, record or mark all information as specified in the procedure.
  1. For power steering pumps with remote power steering pump auxiliary reservoir (3E764) , tip the power steering pump to drain all oil from the intake tube. Rotate shaft to remove oil from internal cavities. CAUTION: Do not clamp on the power steering pump or power steering pump pulley (3A733) .
  1. Using the power steering pump bracket , clamp the power steering pump into a bench vise.
  1. Remove power steering pump pulley with Steering Pump Pulley Remover T69L-10300-B.

  1. Push in on the pump rear cover to compress power steering pump flow control valve spring (3D586) .
  1. Using pliers, remove hook spring ring from radial groove in power steering pump housing (3A643) .

  1. Remove cover and power steering pump flow control valve spring . Remove internal O-ring and backup ring from rear cover.
    • O-ring is inboard of backup ring.

  1. Remove the circlip from the groove.

  1. Turn the power steering pump housing over and remove the rear face plate. Remove O-ring and backup ring for the rear face plate from the power steering pump housing .
  1. Remove the rotor assembly (rotor, cam ring, vanes and set pin) and front face plate from the power steering pump housing .
    • This O-ring is outboard of the backup ring.
    • Check direction of rotation (arrow on cam ring) and location of the set pin.

Wade,

The pictures didn't post, is the tool they refer to a poller, or a wrench? Is it pressed or screwed on is all I need to know.

The rental tool they have at the local parts stores usually makes quick work of these, FYI.
