No problem. I can't wait to see how high the mileage will get after some more break in. I have a feeling I loosened her up a little climbing up those hills.

Nope. You'd have to drop down a few more notches and go liberal to make that mark.

No chance of that happening.

I had to pass on one of those warn bumpers a few years ago, it was at the junkyard and I didn't have any money. I've kicked myself ever since.
Since then I've thought of building one out of a factory bumper, just cut and weld it to get the same contour as the warn and brace the crap out of it. I saw a guy who built one for his jeep and the top of the bumper hinged up and he had some storage space in there, it was pretty sweet!

Yeah, I passed one up a few weeks ago. Just looking at the construction of the factory warn bumper, I'm not impressed. I know I can make a stouter bumper that looks similar for a decent price. Good idea on the storage. I think I'll incorporate that in my design since it's just dead space. It'd be a nice spot to store some recovery gear.

Well boys...I am sipping my coffee here in Boston and it's about 13 degrees outside. Tomorrow night is going to be negative 6!!

And we have just as many idiots here. I am sure we could compare countless idiot stories! haha CA still sounds better to me.

Count your blessings! I'm will be looking -12 degrees in the face tomorrow morning and folks in International Falls will be dealing with -26!

co425, may we see a video of your alarm system chasing off low life perps?

That's one video I don't want to see. Hopefully they go mess with a softer target. If I catch some dirt bag doing that they'll have more than an alarm to run from.

Do you have your very loud horn hooked to your alarm?

Nope. I thought about it and decided against it. The alarm unit itself is stupid loud anyway.

I'm a hard sleeper so I'd probably hook it. It's sad how little people care in public when a car alarm is going off.

Currently my anti theft is built into my Jacobs ignition, will allow it to run for 15 seconds then won't restart for 5 minutes, it continues to repeat that cycle unless the lead for the bypass is grounded. If my truck ever gets to be anywhere near as nice as your I will put additional deterrents on it.
