Not yet. I still have just under a 1/4 tank. I think this one will be dismal though. I turned up my fuel, and have had my foot in it quite a bit. I'm just now getting a little black in the exhaust when I'm on it hard. I have been doing mostly short around town trips. This tank is lasting a long time though. Going on 2 months on the same tank since 12/23/14. I have a feeling this tank is no better in the mileage from all the around town driving. I'm guessing 13.5 just like the last one. I'll fill her up soon and post up a report.

Me too, but I'm not holding my breath. I was hot ******* way too much to get any kind of decent millage. I'm going to try and take her easy after I fill her up this weekend.

I know! The pull in 3rd and 4th is addicting. I almost wish I went with an auto because the 2nd gear ratio is so low. I have to shift before she really gets turned on. No wonder these engines are running in the 9's and 10's with an auto being able to keep on the boost.

Well consider me pleasantly surprised. 14.13 miles per gallon total average over 300 miles. With the amount of getting on it etc. that's unreal. Seems to me a number over 17 mpg is probably what I'm getting on the highway at this point. I figure 80 miles on this tank was highway. The rest in town, stop and go.

Those are some good numbers! That's about what the stock as a rock 6bt in my old 2wd Dodge used to get, except you've got triple the power. That makes me wonder what a stroked 4bt with an ISB 3.9 head, twin turbos with mechanical injection would get... I'll have to build one someday and find out.

That's good to hear. It seems every time I fill up the mileage gets a little better. I'm wondering when and at what mileage it'll top out.

I'm definitely mulling over the same 4bt combo. If one pops up cheap enough I'm on it. Around here complete 4bt's with a P pump go for $3500.00 plus.

Ive been doing some re reading on this thread, I must have missed the brand of your security system/remote locks. Are you happy with it? If so do you mind sharing the brand? I know doodley squat about that stuff and could definitely use some help with a quality system. These crew cabs are a pain to lock and unlock, no external tumbler for the rear doors, my arms are about an inch too short. I would also want remote start for the really cold or hot days.
Thanks, Carl

Nothing planned just yet, but hunting season will be soon enough. I'll post up a mileage report when I do make a long highway trip.
