Found a 73 Ford F100 Short Bed for parts. it should have disc front and i should be able to transfer them to my 56 F250, right? and then depending on the rear end i should be able to use that, i still have the stock rear end.

No on the rear end. 57 - 72 are the ones that are the correct width and bolt pattern

It sounds like you're telling the story, but what would lead you to believe all this?

From past research on the many different ways to get front disc brakes I remember reading about some one using the spindles from and later f150 and mounting them to theirs, but what i could not remember, or find, is what year was the donor truck and what year was getting the transplant. But after i posted this post i continued to search and I have come to the conclusion to just rebuild the stock drums and swap for a 9", if i can find one, or a 8.8". I'm working against a bit of a time frame with winter coming up and my motorcycle being my only wheels.
