thanks for the input guys, have to admit i sure hoped id get 10 out of her like my old 460 but i guess when 10 mouths are open they need fed cant say ive yet to be disappointed with power just wish fuel was a little better
i may have to do some reading on here to see what other mods guys have done but to my knowledge everyone ive talk to local hasnt seen any improvement with exhaust or cold air intake upgrades let me know if any of you have seen the shining light with the bolt ons

I have upgraded my exhaust on my Dodge V-10 & it helped the power but not the gas mileage. Remember one thing most computer vehicles get way more air than they can use with the stock induction system in a stock version. Cold air intakes are a waste of money on a stock vehicle in my opinion. I have a friend that has tuned for racers does a bunch of flow testing, what I tell you comes from him. Maybe chipping the computer might help. Driving 30 mph will help also. You have weight, rolling resistance, wind resistance, that continually work against you.
We all want better mileage, But you are doing good compared to most.

I also get that mileage with mine. Old saying is "if you want horses you gotta feed them".

I tow a 9000# TT.
I can normally set my watch to 8mpg...BUT...(big but)...when I get the 10% ethanol blended fuel...I drop to mid 7's guaranteed!...
I will pay $0.10 extra for the lower octane ethanol free stuff to keep the mpgs up a little.
Wind is your enemy when it is coming at you too.
We just got back from a near 5000 mile trek...averaged right around 8 over the whole trip...but some tanks were slightly higher and some slightly lower...
Ethalol is NOT our answer...it has ~72% of the energy in a gallon as compared to a gallon of petrol so that equates to burning MORE fuel at less mpgs and burning our food...make a lot of sense...to someone...but not me...
