Hey ya'll I'm new on here, but I've read a lot about the Gotts mod for the air intake and decided to try it. I sanded the pvc down to where it fits in the fender well, and used the rubber plumbing coupling to tighten it to the filter box. While the seal seems tight between the rubber and the fender well at the top, there is pvc pipe exposed at the bottom. Will this be a problem? I don't think the seal at the bottom is air tight between the pvc and the fender, so do ya'll think I need to redo the mod so the rubber is plush against the fender? i did it to my 97 and its been on for a month no problems as long as its before the filter it wont be that big of a problem just make sure your filter is clean
