Anyone running em? Thinking about running em on my 3V along with the banks monster exhaust.

Banks doesn't make headers for the 3V V10 in the F-series. The headers they make for the 3V fit the motorhomes only. As for the Banks exhaust I wouldn't do it. The factory exhaust on your 3V is pretty good and should have a 3 1/2" tailpipe already. If you want more sound put on another muffler and add a nice exhaust tip to the tailpipe. Otherwise you will be spending a chunk of change for little benefit.

Oh wow ok thanks I must have missed the motor home part lol

Actually the truck is too loud and I'm gonna be making it quieter. It's got a flow master 40 single in dual out now with some small diameter pipe after the flow master. I think I am gonna invest in a turbo style muffler with a stock tail pipe with a decent size tip. I don't care for the way the 3v v10 sounds, and I like a little rumble so the turbo style muffler sounds like a good fit for me!

Any idea where I could get a 3 or 3.5" tailpipe?

Oh the exhaust has been modded already. The chambered mufflers like the Flowmaster sound better on the V10 than a lot of the mufflers with packing. I would just get a larger and quieter flowmaster, something like the 70 BB2.

Some companies (Flowmaster does) will sell tailpipes seperatly. To get a 3.5" tailpipe you may have to go with a tailpipe designed for a 2005 6.0l truck or go to Banks and buy their tailpipe. A lot of the aftermarket 6.0l tailpipes are 4" or larger however. Ford switched back to a 3" tailpipe on the 5.4l and 6.8l trucks in 2008 so I would say a 3" tailpipe would work fine for your truck.

You can get a catback for your truck in either stainless or aluminized from Flowmaster that comes with the 70 BB2 muffler. I have installed 2 of the aluminized versions on 2V V10s so far.

I personally dont care for the flowmasters. There flow #'s are the lowest of the bunch. On my 05 I swapped the stock muffler for a Dynomax Super Turbo #17792. It has a larger case and 3" internal tubes. With offset in/out it flows like an S. Here are pics of my install: Webshots Rides offers thousands of the best car wallpapers. As far as finding a 3" tail pipe, Magnaflow has either #15003 or #15038 which are 3" stainless tail pipes for FORD, Chevy, Dodge trucks. Don't know if they will fit on the Superduty. Flowmaster has a universal 3" kit #15902.
