This truck has NEVER had any sort of power-adder installed. NO chips, NO programmers, NO fuel boxes, NOTHING. NEVER abused like the other diesels, never raced, never seen a track! I've babied this truck since I bought it.
The previous owner was an older gentleman, who towed a horse trailer a couple times a month to the auction house. I have towed a Jeep about a dozen times, a minivan, and a F350 once. Nothing heavier.
Oil changed every 4k miles with Rotella and a Fleetguard filter from Geno's
Fuel filter changed every 10k with Baldwin PF7977
Air filter changed every 10k
Bad:
-Has 2 small dents (dings). One in the drivers side front fender which was there when I bought it. And another in the drivers door A-pillar. A tree branch fell on it while I was driving in a storm one day.
-The tailgate has a dent in the top of it. The bedliner does a great job of hiding it. The ramps slipped one day while loading my ATV in the back and the skidplate hit it.
-Has the famed 2006 tachometer problem. There are lots of companies that can fix it.
-The rear window (slider originally) was broken by me, and was replaced with a solid piece through Safelite. They scratched the paint around the edges, so a body shop had to re-paint around the window, and re-clear the back of cab and roof to blend it in. It looks as good as new, and both the window and paint work is warrantied for life!
