no grease fittings
My tierod ends and upper ball joints are starting to look a little dry but there are no grease fittings or plugs to remove so that i can add them.
anyone ever pierce the boot and added grease that way?
never done it, so i was looking for some advice.
can you seal them back up, or just keep them greased after you stab them?
ideas?

get an end for you grease gun that locks onto zerks, it'll make it easier that way you dont have to hold the needle on your grease gun. It will seep a touch of grease out of the boot after you pull it out but not much. it's not a big enough hole to let water in.

I do that to mine every oil change. I use this:Amazon.com: Lumax LX-1416 Silver 18G 1-1/2" Long Stainless Steel Grease Injector Needle with Cap: Automotive

the needle you posted is almost identical to the one i bought today.
I was afraid of the hole letting moisture in, but perhaps needlessly so.
I think i'm gonna just stab'em and fill them up. I bought some good Schaffer's synthetic grease today at the local NAPA, and this seems like it would be a good use for it. They are getting to the point where it is either do it, or plan on replacing them in a few years.
I think i might do the upper ball joints on my chevy plow truck the same way, cant get any grease to them either.
