Window Trim Help?

Hi I have my 1990 f150 and the previous owner tried to reinstall the window trim. Now he used a hammer and beat the trim up badly..... Now I want to remove it and I know I should get a removal tool. But can I use a screwdriver or something along those lines? Im just going to be using it once. Now Do I pull the clips on the bottom up or wiggle them around? What about the clips on the pillars. I have no idea on how to remove them... Also are the clips on the top of the windshield the same as the bottom ones? Thank you for the help.

What are you going to replace the bent up trim with? Do yourself a favor, buy the right tool for $10 and go to a junk yard and practice on a truck, Otherwise you will BREAK your windshield doing it wrong

Im going to get another one from the junkyard. Only the bottom portion is bent up. But the parts on the a pillars are rubbing off the paint and causing rust...

I also have another question. Now I have not tried to take the clips off yet. But when the previous owner beat the trim with a hammer he broke the things that retain the clip....... Now Is their a way to replace them?

No not those. I am talking about the ones on the bottom of the windshield. They look like a metal flap or something along those lines. They look like they are screwed or have some sort of clip holding them in.Two are broken and one is rusted and fallen apart. Is their anyway to get new ones or fix them?
