Off Road Bumpers

I'm looking for some off road bumpers for my 88 f-250.

I have been surfing the web and not really finding much, and when I do they want like 3500 for the front and rear. I could buy another truck for that! Does anyone have any ideas on some decent looking, fairly strong off road bumpers for around 2500 bucks? Or if someone made something cool and wants to share, I'm open to all ideas.

I also need to be able to adjust it to get rid of the gap from my 3 inch lift.

Thanks!

I made this a while back, it is not really "off-road, because I did not build it to house a winch or put D-Rings on it. I just built it because I got bored with the truck's look and wanted something different. I like more sleek and low profile, that is the reason for it looking the way it does. I have since taken it back off and put the stock bumper back on because I got bored again..........

Thanks for the links CWPottenger. That would look pretty sweet powder coated black.

Nice pics Newcomer! That looks way better than the piece of railroad track that my neighbor welded to the front of his truck.

Build your own! Or find a custom fabricator that you know well and ask for a favor lol. Iv heard many people say theyre never staisfied with boughten bumpers so they build theyre own and love em. You could do the same! Besides, you could build one for prolly $200 (depending how intricate it is) or buy one for closer to $1000

There's some on eBay that aren't too bad price wise. Don't know the company or quality. Looks like a heavy duty winch bumper.

Yeah with what new ones cost I'm just going to have to build my own. I haven't welded since high-school but I remember it. I'll try and dig up some scraps to practice on before mutilating perfectly good plate. I plan of building some custom steps too. My running boards look awful but that step for the bed access is just too handy to ditch.
