Those things are pretty cool. I don't think I'd fit, though...maybe on a flatcar.

About to do my part in guaranteeing that it will rain sometime today. Gonna wash my filthy Black truck.

Can't see the link, but will have an owwee in a little bit as am headed out to pull more rusted corner bead and moldy fiberglass insulation out of our garage guest room. Might have to pull the whole ceiling down. Funny what a little humidity will do.....

Sean, how your truck is not in more pieces is beyond me and obviously an act of something not of this earth.

Nothin' like a polka in the snow. If I show that still photo in the other thread will someone guess the song?

I guess it's just a Ford, Trey. Don't they all come tough?

Sumptin' about some ol' guy named Harold, I think.....

There was Charlie's Angels, and I guess Harold musta' had some, too!

At least that's what I THINK the song was about.

That is not specifically ours...but it is pretty darn close...I'll have to snap some pictures after we get our hands on her next weekend hopefully!!!

It is a 2007 Tiffin Phaeton 40 QSH

Gonna be a big step up from our 31' TT and Excursion!...LOL

The Ex should be sold next Saturday...I have a pretty serious buyer that we've emailed back and forth many times with lots of photos/info as well as I've chatted on the phone with him multiple times...he's a bit away from us so we'll drive about an hour to meet up with him and let him do his inspection/test drive/etc and hopefully transfer title over to him...I hate to see the Ex go...but believe it or not I found something bigger...LOL

As far as a toad behind the coach...I'm leaning Jeep Wrangler 4dr since I still need a 4wd for deer hunting and I need a flat towable vehicle...that really limits my choices...I think an Escape is one but I've heard some alarming things about the trans on those to scare me off...and you have to remember we'll be tugging this behind a coach with 4 wheels down which generates heat in the trans too...the Wrangler is a toad you see all the time behind coaches big and small...Jeep I think has figured out how to make a flat towable vehicle...the only thing is that there aren't a lot of bells and whistles which is actually fine with me...crank windows and manual locks are two less things to worry about having to fix down the road...I'm looking for a simple vehicle to use back and forth to work and to haul deer and to tug behind the coach...I think the Wrangler fits my requirements...I would like better mpg's...but hey you can't have everything without going econobox and that gives up my deer hunting requirement for off road capability!

So...how do you like my new toy?

Joe.

Uh, oh dangit Joe, now look what you've done, theres drool all over my keyboard...

Sweet! I like the colors, very practical.

Agree with your Jeep comments. There's gotta be a few forums out there with helpful folks who'll take you through those eventual issues. Darn shame there isn't a little 4 banger diesel engine available. I recall Extreme 4x4 made one a while back.

That's pretty slick, Joe. Congrats. The girls will love traveling in that. Very nice!

That thing is a beast Joe. C7 ACERT Cat motor?

Nathan and I had an absolute blast yesterday out at Pomona, despite the heat. Nathan won the 15 sec index class, so he's buying the next round

Leaving for Spokane/Billings/Yellowstone this morning. Niece visiting, racing and sight seeing are on the agenda. Be back in a couple of weeks.

Agreed. Definitely had a blast yesterday. Still can't believe I took a half second off my personal best in the 1/4 mile. Was a great day, just wish more diesel guys had made it out. The crowd sure seemed to like watching us run.
