Having a little bit of thunder in Ventura right now, turned around and Lila was hangin out in the truck. Ive never been able to get her to ride in the truck but she ran right towards it with the thunder. Still havent been able to get her to get out of it...

 

Dave, does she have an appropriately-sized crate in which to retreat at stressful times like that?

When given the opportunity, dogs will, and should, consider their crate as "their safe place".

No she doesn't have a crate, she hasn't in probably 8 years. She normally spends all day in the house and runs into the laundry room/ hall when she's scared

Driver side is brand new, replaced it about a month ago. Still have to do the passenger side. Gonna see about getting them rhino lined or line-x'd once I get the other side done

It was cloudy most of the morning yesterday, and didn't really get hot. This morning, the sun was streaming through the bedroom window at 6:30 when I woke up. And it is warming up.

 

At least she knows that a Ford is the safest place to be. Kudos to Lila

Not sure if anyone is into these tractors, but that's what my Uncle collects and pulls with.
