When I started racing in the 80s I was told by a wise old man "don't put anything on the track you're not willing to throw in the dumpster at the end of the day". Very sound advice indeed. Saw this video on StangTV yesterday and that old man's advice came screaming back to me clearer than ever. A good example of better you than me.

Good morning Jim and MN.
We survived camping. Had a good time doing it too. Got some sun along with some fish. Nothing worth keeping cause I was taking fish off of hooks more than I could fish myself, but the kids had a great time. We did manage to get into a disagreement with the manager. They have a new pet deposit of $15. We paid and were the only "weekend" people besides one other camper. The rest were seasonal people. I let Carley out and she was running around our campsite. The manager came over and told us our dog needs to be on a leash. We were new to this rule and said ok. She was on here leash the rest of our stay and did not bark or bother anyone. We told her we have camped here on a number of occasions and never had a problem. So they decided to keep our deposit cause she was off her leash. We argued and left unhappy with the stricter rules. They said they are getting stricter cause they have been so lax in the past. Yeah for us, we got to be the guinea pigs! It's not about the $15 dollars now it's about the way we were approached and the lack of explanation. I like to cause trouble don't I. hehehe
