Thing is I go down that way pretty often, but it is kinda tough to drive 2 cars back by myself.
I'll see what turns up, but if the car is as nice as the guy says I'm pretty much sold on it.
(yes I know i'm becoming *that* guy that always talks about buying stuff and never does)

That could certainly work, I appreciate it!
My goal here is to get a cheaper, more practical car. Then clean up the BMW and sell it. Then when things settle a bit pickup a used powerstroke.
I really like my BMW, and will lose the money i've got into it by selling, but it is about to cost me alot of money in repairs if I keep it another 20k miles. Right now I can sell it for a reasonable price(4500-5000) and have a few bucks leftover after paying off the loan.

I don't know about getting rich, but I'm not losing money. Lee just picked up his truck. Everything works again.
I may get into the '53 and find out if the guy who put it together used the wrong flexplate. I thought the car had a driveling vibration. It turns out it's in the engine. I don't think it's internal, it idles as smooth as glass. I think he just had a flexplate laying around when he dropped the engine in and used an external balance flexplate on an internal balance engine.
Tiff's at work, so I have to squeeze some Mr. Mom stuff in between projects in the shop. 2nd load of laundry is in and the kitchen is clean.
I got that Saturn squared away too. It turns out it didn't need an axle. Someone loosened all the sway bar bolts and it was making a racket under there. I've been seeing that more and more. In the last thirty years of turning wrenches, I've never seen sway bar bolts or ball joints just "get loose" all by themselves. Be careful when you take your vehicle in for service.
