Good Morning Everybody!

I'm up and out early this morning. Gonna hear a '47 Chevy start and run for the first time in 20+ years today!

Here I am!

Rich have fun where ever you may be taking Penny. I'm betting it's a pretty nice deal. I heard he had to "Pull Some Strings" in order to pull it off!

Mornen y'all

Ozark did go there, but there was no Dispatch, like a called in Emergency. So I didn't hear anything about Ozark FD going. It was done by e-mail.

Bwahahahaha!

i painted and cleared two hoods last night, photos Friday of one, the other is now ready for install on the Camaro and the top will be painted when I paint the whole car. The Camaro owner showed up bearing cash last night as well...WOOT! next week should be a nice payday on that car since it should be done then.

My brother in law and I got the engine in his '47 Chevy this morning. It's in, new engine mounts, clutch linkage and bellhausing bolts in. We got the alternator, coil, distributor, etc. in and hooked up. Just the exhaust, oil line, and a few wires to hook up and it should light right off.

We're both wiped out. The clutch disc and input shaft had some burrs on them and REFUSED to let the engine and trans slide together, so out it came again. We filed all the burrs down and tried again. It popped together first try that time. Talk about a bear.

I have a coolant leak to figure out and more rust to fix on the '66. Then I feel a stupid pill coming on. When I'm healthy, I'm 6'-1" tall. Last night, I was 5'-10". I have to be really careful or I'll be in my wheelchair soon. That's the shortest I've been since I got hurt.
