C&C the ones that are gonna do it?
What all is planned on this trip?

With the size of the bill you better get the hippie foot pedal put in while there at it.

Steve, I am sure that Pat will have no problem spending money on Black, but I am willing to bet that he could use a little 'help' with it

If you have to go into the hpop and injectors you might as well do the egr and studs since you have to tear 1/2 the topend apart anyhow.

If you want any other help spending your money, just lemme know...I could go on and on!
Plan is for studs, EGR block off and cooler removal, new oil cooler, Blue spring upgrade, pillar gauges, grind the head and block surface and install new gaskets, possibly replace the valve guides, and install the tuner Tim was so kind to supply me with! Oh, and to figure out why she's not starting. She acts like she wants to, but just won't fire.
Since they pull the motor out of the truck to do the work, they will also check for any leaks, and take care of those also. And I'll go ahead and replace the belt and have them check the air filter.

Steve, feel free to send me some of your cash, I'd be happy to spend it on Black!

See above for the work to be done. Yeah, C&C complete in Bennington. Not going to be cheap, probably in the area of 5-6.5 K for all of it. Depends on what needs to get done.

Is it quitting time yet!? What a dragging on day...

Sounds like you have a sound plan ahead. Get all the work done at once and get another 100K+ out of her.

I got a lot done today... Got the engine in the highboy, and worked up a custom pivot for the clutch. Didn't take a picture of the bracket we made, the lift was already lowered... Here is the engine in the truck.

My dad found me a complete parts truck for $200. He picked it up yesterday after work. We got to talking, and decided that the truck he bought was too nice to be parted out.. We are probably going to put a good motor in it and drive it.. Have another lead on parts to finish my truck, however. It is coming together, slowly but surely.
