So I found an 84 F-250 N/A 4 spd that reminds of me mine....a lot. The guy wants me to pay the shop fee of 390 dollars for it to become mine. I also found an 85 that is in good shape to a point. It needs a lot of work and I can get it for 800. I am buying it for a donor truck. The 84 has engine damage from broken glow plug tip . So Anybody gonna need anything of an 85? Thought I would throw that out there because all i want is the engine. It has mostly rust free panels and whatnot. Good T-19 4 spd so if anyone wants anything just PM me.

On another note, I am selling my Super duty now that i aint gotta worry about step kids and I am going with my favorite truck....the SC/LB 6.9.

Gonna take the bad motor out, and remove the cam and good pistons....block is cavitated so I am not bothering with it. I have a donor block(87 6.9) that I am gonna have a reground cam put in. Along with the idea of making a larger exhaust manifold setup. also going to add a 99 7.3 powerstroke turbo....I want the 99 Turbo just to be unique. I am gonna also make a custom intake design all of my own, which will feed a 6.0 or similar intercooler. GOnna have a 4 inch exhaust that will have a muffler cause I hate straight pipes. Will get some pictures posted of the truck.

That motor is gonna take time, for now I am gonna swap in a 85 6.9l engine that is still good, just the truck isn't, between rotting box and broken this that and the other....plus this 85 block has the Engine Speed Sensor in it that works and gauge to go with it. That is all going in the 84 truck.

Sounds like a fun build. I love that style of Ford! Also that turbo seems to work decently on an IDI. IIrc there are two guys running that turbo and they seem to like it.

What do you plan on doing for the fuel system on this build?
