What size is the front door speaker for a 1997 ford f350 XL

Look on crutchfield.com and it has an area to look up factory sizes

I did but it said 5 1/4 or a 6.5 but I took one out and it's only 6 inches is that going to work Because I just bought 6.5

The aftermarket 6 1/2 has the edges closer to the mounting holes, factory speakers tended to have oversize mounting brackets.

I just installed some 6 1/2" speakers with plenty of room left.
