Hi, If I was to get the Diablo Delta two stage chip (stock and performance) will it still alter the transmission shifting on "stock" setting or will it only do this on the performance setting? Also, if I understand right you have a switch on the dash to switch between the two programs? Thanks!

But I'd rather hide the switch so I can go back to the stock program when my son borrows my truck.

 

Stock is "turned off." Whatever your truck does now, it will do in "stock" mode. The chip comes with a 5 foot cable with a switch on the end, you can mount it just about anywhere that strikes your fancy.

So basically ken do you mean that the switch in Stock mode is a bypass mode to allow the stock system to operate but then you can just flip it back to performance mode, provided you are using premium fuel?
