The mutifunction switch can go bad.
Have you played with that to see if the wipers work in any position?
Under the dash attached to the rear of the fuse block is a module called a GEM.
This controls the wiper speed through the mutifuntion switch.
The wiper motor leads should appear at that location.
The GEM also controls other funtions depending on options the truck has such as 4x4 shift on the fly etc.
Good luck.

If it is the multifunction switch you can take it apart and clean and lube it. You use a razor blade to separate the end. The cap just pops off. Using a razor blade to slip between the cap and the body of the switch at the end of you turn signal arm. Once off you will see a screw to remove to allow the parts to come out. Make sure you remember the order they came out in. You don't have to take the entire stalk off, just the end to get in there and clean and re-lube the contacts. It may or may not fix your problem but it's worth a shot.

Did get to the motor and was recieving no power on any setting. I bought a Chilton that said I might have to dissassemble the steering column to get to the switch. I like the sounds of testing at the GEM. Thanks again

Looks like I made the bone headed move of checking voltage at the wrong side of the connector. Took apart the steering column and removed the multifunction switch. All contacts checked good. Found 5.7 volts to the motor.
