I wouldn't mind an excuse to go camping somewhere, state park perhaps, depending on how many here do that sort of thing. You could talk me into Silver Lake that time of year.
That did seem to work out. We'll just have to see how many and a date then figure out exact location. Unless someone knows of an even on a certain date that we can crash
keep me updated... I am a MI native, just relocated for work.. I am sure you are used to seeing/hearing that. Still have family up there, just one more reason to make the trek.
What are everyone's schedules looking like? I'm busy for August, Laborday will be getting orginized and settled still, the Applefest BBQ weekend and fall hill climbs the following weekend. Then I am pretty open.
i assume yous guys are talking about the park in Grand Ledge? hope so, my folks live in that town, ha. if that was the case, if i'm not mistaken half the main roads in that town are tore up, not sure when that crap is supposed to be done.

I need to start shooting my bow.......
my schedule is much the same. i was thinking the same thing just yesterday, i need to start shooting some clays! haven't had the gun out of the case since january.
Could do South Higgins Lake state park. Water should still be nice for swimming. If you don't like swimming you can always kick back on the beach and laugh at the chevro-something-or-anothers owners struggle to launch a boat. Always makes me laugh anyway.....
South higgins or houghton lake area would not be bad... but it looks like most posters are in metro areas... Maybe Brighton Area? US23 and 96 are right there? Split Lansing and Detroit? Tons of lakes and parks in the area.
We have a few that regularily attend theses GTG's that come a long way. That's why Lansing (Grand Ledge) has been a good central location.
I'm not oppsed to driving to where ever. It would be nice if we could get to a place where Torr and may Jasmin could make it also. Tim will make the trip so long as there isn't a car show that he is attending.
