Taking out the front seat?

So I was gonna gut my excursion to have every nook and cranny of the carpets cleaned the biggest torx I had was a T50 and it wasnt even close to the right size anyone know off hand what size torx it takes to remove. Thanks

Its a T55 Torx. I believe you will also need an 18mm socket.

- Dont strip them. They are very, very tight, at least mine were. I used penetrating oil.

I used an air gun on mine. All the bolts have Loctite on them from the factory.

I would pull ALL of my seats out and all of the carpet out twice a year to clean. Yeah...a bit OCD...

Actually, they are A T55 Plus, which is practically unheard of. A T55 will do just be careful.

I also take mine out routinely.

Ah. Interesting. I was blaming the cheapo horrible freight socket. As long as you hold it straight it will work but at an angle it may be possible to slip and start to strip the bolt.

Heat will loosen the Loctite and make it easier but I didn't find it that difficult to remove the bolts.
