slave cylinder install
I have 99 f250 super duty V-10 5speed 4x4, the tranny snapped at extended housing unit I dropped it myself I had no idea how or what it ment to "drop a tranny", now i do! its horrible!! my problem now is putting it back in I am more confused than before, i broke the clips removing the slave cylinder and don't know how how to put the new one in! I think thats my starting point isn't it?? Please help me out oh yeah did i mention i'm a female!!

Welcome to FTE. Which clips did you break? The slave cylinder is installed by inserting it int he bell housing and giving it about a 1/4 turn clockwise.
If you're just referring to the thin plastic pieces that hold the rod into the slave cylinder during install, those are supposed to break. If you're referring to the tabs that are on the largest round part on the slave, those are what hold the slave in the bell housing.
