TIP of the DAY: Get a set of connector tools (ANY autoparts store) for A/C lines, and a generic pack of A/C system O-Rings (green rings)\
At every line joint - separate them, and install a new O-Ring.
The O-Ring pack is five bucks, and you'll have a million of them left over.
The tools for the job average ten to twenny bucks, and you will always have them...
That cures ALL LEAKS, except from a bad component
And it is cheap - which is why I do that FROM THE START!
Then see what a fresh charge does
If you have eliminated the possibility of leaks - you then have a component to wonder about
