As a side point, there is no such thing as a dually (DRW) F250, therefore, no need to specify a SRW F250.

So which engine are you thinking of?

I've only had my f250 xlt with the 6.7 for a few days, but I'm averaging 21.6. I'm still on the dealers fill up now, but I'll top it off this week. We're planning a short camping trip soon. I expect fuel mileage to drop to 12, but we'll see.

The factory partially fills the tank with ungodly diesel too, like 58+ cetane versus the watered down 38-40 you usually see at the pump.

That, of course, helps boost the mileage.

MPG is more dependent on your driving style, speed, weight, traffic, etc...
I can drive my truck and get 20 mpg and the wife can drive it and get 12 mpg

and I think I drive too quick most of the time !!!

towing our tall, heavy 5th wheel I have gotten 8.5 thru 12 mpg... depending on the speed and 'hurry' I'm in
