2012 F250 subwoofer wiring question

I just installed my amp and subbox and was under the impression that the factory Subbox would need a 12V remote on source, but all I can find are 6V power on the factory connection to the Subbox. has any on used the factory power connections to power the remote connection of an Amp, or do I need to run a new connection?

I ran new wires for the amp/sub but the wiring diagram shows the following (below) in relation to the sub. What line converter are you using? Alot of the newer ones have auto sensing capabilities where they'll turn on as soon as they sense the signal from the +/-, so only 12v constant and ground need to be hooked up.

Blue w/ red stripe - "always hot" connection from the BCM
Violet w/ red stripe - enable/clip detect
Violet w/ green stripe - SW+
Green w/ white stripe - SW-

The Blue w/ Red Stripe wire currently has no voltage. I was careful to cut it separately, however it looks as though the fuse was blown. You wouldn't happen to know the location of the fuse for that wire would you? I think this may have been my problem all along.

Well, here is my configuration. I have a cashe cloc-d output converter hooked to 300 W Fosgate Amp. I have the speaker wires connected to left channel of the output converter. The amp turns on, but there is no voltage on the RCA output to the amp. I have 6V on each speaker wire, both + and - as measured from common ground. but no voltage when measured between them. The 6V drop on each speaker wire is kinda mystery. Any advice?

Well disregard my last, it is working after all, just was checking with volume so low that the sub wasn't firing. Now my problem is it feels like it is clipping out or something. It definately is not hitting like it did in my old truck. New upgraded speakers, but same amp. anyone else experience the same issue where the sub hits are not what they are expecting? it sucks having the navigation unit and all you can adjust is bass and treble. My previous headunit was able to adjust the sub out put which helped.

I'll check out your components online when I get home. My setup hits harder and cleaner than anything I ever had in the past. No issues running off the stock nav unit.

Have you played with the gain on the loc? It looks like it has one based on the online images.

Are you pulling your signal for the sub off the factory sub wires?

So you'd have:
Violet w/ green stripe - SW+
Green w/ white stripe - SW-

Going into your LOC, then from there, rca's to the amp and decent wires out of the amp to the sub.

Check your grounds as well. Also, the factory wiring (for power) may be inadequate for your loc/amp.
