hello all

Im here because Im looking to buy my first FORD (I havent even considered a suburban)

Im in the market to buy a v-10 model to tow my 79malibu on an open trailer.
Im getting rid of my daily driver 80 malibu that gets 11.6/14.9 mpg which will justify me getting a big truck

Hello and welcome to the best, friendliest Ford board ever! Lots of good info and people here, poke around and read as much as you can, don't be shy and ask questions. You should be able to find a nice V10 pretty easily. I'd start with Craigslist and search everyday. Some V10 owners may chime in to help you with what to look for when checking out the motor on a possible purchase.

Again, welcome aboard!

Seems like there are lots of v10's for sale so you should be able to find a good deal.

Post the links to the best EX's you have found.

Let the hunt for the EX begin

They both look really nice! The 01' has lower miles and they seem less firm on the price so I would start there. Make sure use have a mechanic you trust look it over before you buy it! Good luck!

Nice miles and nice price. Sellers would be asking about $2-3k more for it here in Michigan, unless it's a rust bucket like so many are up here.

That is a nice price for that mileage.

I know this one is a lot more than that but it's an Eddie Buer and 56k miles and newer.

If you are looking for a V-10 Excursion I would suggest you look for a 2003 or later model. By the way welcome to the board.
