2004 F250 superduty Starter not working

If anyone can help?
I jumped in yesterday morning turned the key dash lights come on turned to start and ......... nothing. Made sure it was in park tried again nothing. Put in neutral tried again, nothing. Lights are bright turned to start they don't dim stay bright. Jump solenoid and still nothing. Checked with test light no power to S on solenoid. Power to solenoid OK. Had son turn key no power to starter side. Tried to cross out again, Nothing. Took off battery cables clean up post put back now there is a beeping clicking noise like emergency flashers are going but key is not in. Turned on key and gauges like tach went all the way up but sill no starter turning.
It's been many years of no problems guess it time. Any help would be great.

Can you check the volts on the battery? When Ive heard that clicking noise like you describe the battery has been dead. Try to jump it if its low and see if it will turn over. If it does you probably need a battery. If you can't test it but can jump it I would try that anyway.

I tried to jump it but still nothing. The fast beeping clicking was something I never heard before. The battery seams strong and if I turn on the head lights they don't even dim when I try to turn over. When I tried to jump out the solenoid the started didn't turn

Yea I had never heard it before either till I went to move my brothers old 5.4 after it had sat for awhile and it did that. I put it on the charger for a while and it fired right off. The only other thing i can think of off the top of my head is on my bronco there is a little wire going to the starter that just clips on has come loose a couple time it usually does it when it goes form hot to cold in the same day like 25 to 30 degree difference. When you try to start it nothing happens like you are saying. I can move it around and press the clamp down with pliers and then its fine. So I would look at the starter and see if there is a loose wire on it or corroded connection there. Also maybe check the neuteral safety switch on the side of the transmission. do you have a battery charger if you do try charing it for an hour or so after you check all the connections.

Thanks I'll check the connections I was thinking it might be a problem with the neutral
It's weird because I tried to jump it and also tried to jump out the solenoid but still no luck. I'll keep trying.

what engine?

on the 6.0l i recently bought i had a no-start issue, and it ended up being the high-current wire connection at the starter completely corroded off. put a new crimp connection on the end (that cable is ginormous!) and its been fine.
