Hello All! I just joined today, after lurking for the past few months. I have used Google, Bing, and the search function here, but I cannot find these topics asked before, so without further ado...I was an import guy for the longest time, and my dad finally got his laugh when my wife demanded we get a truck, so I looked around and now own a '99 F250 SD Supercab. My questions are:

1. Is there a center console that has cup holder built in that I can swap for the one in there now? I want to put a double din pioneer headunit in and hate the cup holder in the dashboard.

2. Is it cheaper to buy the interior trim and seats from a King Ranch or Harley Davidson F250, or have an upholstery shop redo the seats and interior in leather/vinyl?

This is more of a bump again, with my 2 cents

The Harley and KR interiors even used are Spendy. However, having something CUSTOM would be way more IMO at least if you expect quality.

Ebay always has KR stuff for sure, I have seem complete sets from 1200-3500. That includes a center console. You're best bet is u pull yards and settle for just the Lariat Leather (not bad stuff at all, just a little more plastic type feeling then the KR). Finding anything with the Captians chairs will have cupholders or finding a split bench with fold down center.

You should be able to swap most interiors from 99-2012. Some extended cab front seats may not work perfect with crew cab front seats and vice versa. Some front seats have the seat belts in the seat and some on the cab.

I put newer style leather seats in the 99 F250 and the seat belts were different but with a little work it's fine now.

From my understanding the F250, F350, and Excursion bolt pattern for front seats are all the same. Not totaly sure but the F150 and Expedition seats may work too.

As far as cup holders in the dash you need to get down on the floor and remove the one currently in your truck and put one in from an 03. The original style cup holders are horrible, lost many super sized cups in them until a forum search showed the mod. Hope you don't need tan because you pay about double for tan than gray. My thoughts are most Limited, Eddie Bauers, King Ranch's, and Laraits have brown interiors hence the higher price. Also if your truck has the center counsil cup holders the newer designed ones are deeper. Put them on the X and the cups don't fall out either. All three of my diesels have the newer style dash mount cup holder. The Dually had them installed a week after buying used.
