door glass?

Quick question, hoping for a quick answer. Is the door glass on the '57-60 flat glass? or is there a curve?

Yep Havi, the only glass with a curve of any kind is the windshield. Everything else can be purchased from your local glass shop. You will want a fitted working pattern for them to cut and grind to.

1/4" thick is what you want.

I stated in my post that "1/4" thick" was what was wanted. I need to clarify that by adding that it needs to be 1/4" thick "Laminated Safety Plate glass"

That comes in clear, and tinted.

Hope this helps also.

This statement isn't totally true. The Custom Cabs have the wrap around big back window that definitely isn't flat too.

Oh my, I guess I have to apologize. I totally forgot about that beautiful big back window option, which was indeed not flat. I am not sure if it was curved laminated, like a windshield, or if they were tempered. Never got the opportunity to see one out of the rubber gasket.

But, not all "Custom Cabs" came with the big window. Mine has a regular small flat glass.

Thanks for the correction Jimmy.

Aloha,
